Liberalitas Ltd came to us as a brand-new company, looking for both a website and a logo. At the start, all they had was a name and a few rough ideas. The name “Liberalitas” is inspired by an ancient Roman virtue representing generosity the idea of giving freely and this became the guiding concept for the logo.
Logo Design
Liberalitas International
Starting with a name and a few rough ideas, we developed a logo for Liberalitas rooted in the concept of Roman generosity. The Corinthian pillar emerged as the defining motif, refined through thoughtful typography and colour experimentation. The finished design captures both elegance and generosity, delivering a distinctive visual identity that conveys modern professionalism fused with deep-rooted values.
Designing the Liberalitas Pillar

From the client’s initial concepts, a Corinthian pillar immediately stood out. I also explored alternative ideas, including a cornucopia, reflecting Roman imagery where women holding cornucopias symbolized liberalitas. I created several quick sketches to visualize these directions and shared them with the client.

The client was drawn to the pillar idea, so we focused on refining that concept. I experimented with typography and colour palettes, testing how the pillar and text could work together to convey both elegance and generosity.

In Conclusion
After settling on a style, I produced a polished final version featuring a custom pillar design unique to Liberalitas Ltd. The finished logo strikes a balance between modern professionalism and the company’s values, creating a strong visual identity from scratch.
